Here I am, trying to learn character drawing, anatomy, basic animation, advanced digital art skills, an ipad animation program (Callipeg), 2 cpu ones (Tahoma2D and Krita), and a video editor (Hitfilm Express).
Oh why the heck not, let’s throw another animation program into the bag. Moho.
Unlike traditional animation (where you draw multiple drawings for every second), Moho used vector graphics (drawings calculated with math), and uses the computer’s brain to move a drawing from pose A, to pose B.
It will make it smooth, but you’ll likely need to touch it up a little. Even with that, this is SUCH a time saver! It’s just me here, and I can’t keep up with my brain! I currently have 3 projects happening, with about 4 more already waiting in line. Well I can’t shut up my brain, so it’s time to get faster. Hopefully Moho helps with that.
I have spent the last few weeks doing skillshare tutorials, to learn the program. This thing is a beast!!!! I’m just making a dent with how much you can do with this. Like characters being above to swivel their head, the wind looking natural (physics), camera movements…..I can continue on. Lots to learn, AND I LOVE IT. (moho & learning)
When I’m “stuck”, and googling for answers, I love finding an animators site, that shares the “behind the scenes” of their project. I should do the same… I don’t plan on doing tutorials, but maybe I could give you ideas/inspiration. Or at the least, just documenting my animation adventure, so I could smirk at it later.
Hopefully now I’ll be able to share projects/and have something to say at a faster pace.
